Since the MAKUM Competition has ended, I'd like to know your opinions about the program.
Please state our weaknesses before, during & after the competition. Hopefully we'll be able to troubleshoot & improve for the next round.
I'm awaiting constructive criticism _________________ ~music pours on mortals her magnificent disdain~ |

Ya, according to Tai Shi master, he say that we are not natural enough during the competition compared to others team. We are more like just memories and play out the notes.
Another thing i want to say is about members individual skills. One thing to improve the OG is that every members should know what he/she should do. I believe that most us couldn't practice much because of many assignments and homeworks to do, but anyway we should spend some time to practice, especially wind and brass instrument.
And of course we are "kalam-kabut" for this competition where we only spend 1 week time for the training. _________________ I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failuretry to please everybody.

1. I agree, we were all too stiff, we didn't look like we enjoyed ourselves, everyone was worried about making a mistake etc.
2. It's true that we didn't have enough practice for this competition. I think if we had maybe another week, then we might have given a more solid performance.
3. As for sectional practice, I'm not sure how are we going to do that. I mean we're usually busy with studies, so unless we make it a point to come together every week or so & rehearse new songs etc, it will always be an issue.
4. We really need to get a uniform. _________________ ~music pours on mortals her magnificent disdain~ |
