Salam and a very good day,

There'll be a 'Malam Konsert Amal' on 18th of July 2008 which is on Friday nite. We chose dat date, because 2 weeks after we come bak from hldy(hve time to prpare) and oso why on Friday nite? bcoz to mke sure alot of stdent can cme to our cncert. The duration of d cncert is about 2 hours (9pm-11pm).
The tickets still xsure hw much,bcoz we will see frst hw much JHEPA will spprt us. If they give us 'seciput',the tickets maybe RM3 or if they give us 'banyak', the tickets mybe RM2.

The main objective to have 'Malam Konsert Amal'
-to help the orphne pple by selling the cncert tickets.
-to show OG members talent.

*every OG members MUST perform on 'Malam Konsert Amal' include (now who's learning playing instrmnt)and OG UMP performers.
*we will have a prfrmnce by every sction such as violin,brass,guitar,percussion and keybrd.
*We will hve a prgrm juz like in MPO. (prfrmnce by every sction-break 10 mins-prfrmnce by OG UMP perfrmrs and mybe gbung wf nasyid n koir)
*Invite nasyd to sing a good msge song-like 'keamanan or kemanusiaan'
*maybe we will open the counter to cllect the cntrbution by UMP stdnts.
cntributions(barang2 trpakai,books etc)

Lawatan ke Rumah Anak Yatim.
*We hve decided to visit Rumah Kanak2 Tengku Ampuan Fatimah' in Ktn.
*Kerjasama wif Kelab Penyayang or Rakan Muda.
These of 2 clubs are alwys do krja2 masyrkt(gotong royong,prgrm anak angkat and etc)
*btw AJK2 would like 2 have both clubs as our 'anjran bersama' coz:
Kelab Penyayang- naungan Persatuan Budi Penyayang M'sia.
Rakan Muda-naungan Rakan Muda M'sia.
So, maybe they hve their own advntges such as can get a spprt by their 'naungan' if we do krja kemasyrakatan.
Btw we will dscss again bout this. Still pnding.

All AJKs are frst yr stdnts..he2(excpt shahril,ammi and ai ti)
all still young..he2 Cool

to gain more experience and knowldge.
Hope dis prgrm will run smoothly as we planning.InsyaAllah..(^~^)

Hi Ainul thanks this is a great thread Wink

However I have some points to make:

1. About the ticket fee, let students pay more. This is after all, a charity concert. We want to RAISE money to give to the less fortunate. I suggest RM5 ticket fee to be reasonable enough for such a worthy cause Smile

2. Great idea to invite the tutors to come perform. If I'm not mistaken, the guitar tutor, Mr.Kent, will help the guitarists to practise & prepare for their sectional performances. He's really good, I think we did the right thing to invite him to come here. Also for the other tutors, I think their participation will make the concert more meaningful!

3. Take this program as an opportunity to improve your skills. That is the purpose of the concert: to help you guys shine. Aim to make the best of it & get postive experiences. Plus on a side note, to prove that music isn't just recreation, it has the power to help others too.

If they can perform together, why not? This would only be the beginning of BETTER things. In the future, I hope this concert will be an annual event & we will involve more people from outside the university as well Wink

If they gve us very little,so we hve to raise the ticket up to RM5.

Bout the prfrmers, i thnk we can invite Mr.Kent since he has more experience bout prfrmnce. To make the cncert more lively, I hope the chldren can prfrm on dat nite..he2(chidrn songs..mybe their fav. song).

Thnks Jo Ann 4 giving us 'semangat' to do dis better. Cool
