Great idea Ainul! Yeah the word "Konsert" has been over-used here, it's great to do something different!
Hm this is a quick definition about the words Philharmonic, Symphony & Orchestra:
Quote: | What is the difference between a philharmonic and a symphony?
A philharmonic is a symphony orchestra or the group that supports it. A symphony is a large orchestra. An orchestra is a large group of musicians who play together on various instruments, usually including strings, woodwinds, brass instruments, and percussion instruments. So, philharmonic and symphony orchestra are synonymous. Philharmonic comes from Greek words meaning 'love of harmony' and in this instance is a colloquial shortening of "philharmonic society" or "philharmonic orchestra." The term only dates back to 1813. The term orchestra is much older and originally referred to the semicircular front part of a stage in ancient Greek theaters, which was where the chorus sang and danced. Orchestra evolved to mean the group of musical instrument performers in a theater. |
So if in English, I'd suggest "UMP Orchestra Charity Night"...So if translated directly, I'd be "Malam Amal Orkestra UMP"
Hm...If you want to use the word "philharmonic", then...I'd suggest "Malam Amal Filharmonik UMP"/"UMP Philharmonic Charity Night". _________________ ~music pours on mortals her magnificent disdain~ |

AGREE!!! Publicity takes really important role for an event. So for this so meaningful event of OG, Publicity part must be done very well... _________________ ash_ash |

Yeah publicity is a huge important factor, your AJK Publisiti will be handling a very very important part of the program
Hm how about a theme for the concert? I would suggest something like "music heals your soul" or "touching souls through music"...because we are reaching out to less fortunate people & helping them in a small way, using music as the machine to get us there...
When you have a theme, you should have a slogan, so that people will keep repeating that slogan; that will make the event important & people will KNOW the OG _________________ ~music pours on mortals her magnificent disdain~ |

Hm maybe you should think of the theme first, like what should the event be about? What do you want people to be thinking when they come for the performance? _________________ ~music pours on mortals her magnificent disdain~ |

Touching Souls Through Music...How about a BM translation? I don't think it has to be exactly the same, as long as the meaning is there _________________ ~music pours on mortals her magnificent disdain~ |

Update:
We now have a problem with the date of the event, hopefully we will be able to resolve this issue ASAP. I hope the new members will join to help us organize the concert
PS. I want to perform 2 new songs if possible: Ebony & Ivory (we'll use flute, violin & trumpet), & I Don't Want To Miss A Thing (trumpet melody). I've the score for both songs, so it's only a matter of transposing & trying it out. Time to learn new songs _________________ ~music pours on mortals her magnificent disdain~ |

^Thank you Ainul, sounds great. So yeah section masters prepare songs for the concert! Use new performers if possible. Feel free to be creative & don't hesitate to ask me for scores, I may have a few for sectional performances _________________ ~music pours on mortals her magnificent disdain~ |
