Hi this is the memo I received from the PM of the program...

So this is roughly the flow of the program, but I think this is the old flow...we are suppose to perform section by section if I'm not mistaken...

Adhi, what song is that? Could you please type in more formal Malay, or English...because I can't really understand what you're saying Embarassed

i ade lagu tue....tapi lagu tue telah digabungkan dengan lagu P Ramlee yang lain...jadi....tajuk lagu tu dah jadi P Ramlee Overture.....
llagu yang digabungkan tue....i xtahu ape tajuk die.....

To all:

The MIS will be held on a new date, considering all the events that were planned by the MT's of the club.

A new possible date will be announced in the nearest future.

The theme will be withdrawn, meaning that the p.ramlee theme is not in use anymore.

The purpose of MIS was to promote creativity inside the clubs and to give students the opportunity to express themselves.

So, i guess its back to basics then. Lets create something fantastic, something that will surely open the eyes of the people who sees it.

Update:

Malam Inspirasi Seni will be held at 9th Aug (Sat), at the astaka 9pm. The purpose is to serve as a platform for new members to perform in front of an audience. This will be a good chance for new members to practice performing without fear of the crowd.

The theme will be Nusantara, the best examples are from Indonesia & Malaysia. The basic flow of the program is each group will present something, connecting these segments is the drama group. There won't be an MC formally introducing the next group etc. Each performance is part of a drama. The orchestra will provide the music, if possible we will be using live music all the way.

Here's the catch: the music. We will need songs reflective of the Nusantara theme. Good examples are P.Ramlee & M.Nasir music. I've Dealova in my mind, as well as My Heart. I will need to submit the songs we can/will perform for this event by Wed 30th July at night. We have to be quick because we need to write the scores. Don't forget we have convo rehearsals (well we should be) during this time too...

Please discuss this ASAP in this thread. We don't have that much time left (2 weeks at best). Thanks.
