A sweet couple were walking to Pasar Malam, when they reached the Guard House, they were stopped by the dedicated Mr. Guard.

Mr.Guard: Where are your Matrix Cards?

Couple : Here, Sir.

Mr.Guard: Both of you want go out "berdua-duaan"?

Couple : .........""

Mr. Guard showed them the latest memo from Ma'am H.

Mr.Guard: From today onwards, male and female students are
strictly prohibited to go out berdua-duaan, berempat-empatan,
berenam-enaman. And any car that passes through the Guard
House must be ransacked to make sure the bonet is empty.

Couple :............

Mr.Guard: If you are not satisfy with this rule, please go and argue with

Hahahahha gosh that's ... um... hahhaa...so ... mean ... yet funny Laughing

By the way, now the guards are getting more and more lineant already... One thing i noticed about UMP rules, once they are enforced, would be REALLY strict until all of them get stress on them..after that by 1 week or more, it SURELY go back to normal Neutral Really sigh of the management's job! First, set up ridiculous rules, then critically enforced, at last disappearing of what have been done. Why cant they do a more reasonable and better job, in a way to really IMPROVE students, not to SCARE students and making the situation worse! Neutral

Yeah I don't think anyone can truly blame the guards, I recall someone telling me (was it you, ash? :p) that even they feel sorry that we have to live with such strict & crazy rules.

Management must remember THEY were young once & as I've learned through debate (thanks, sifu haha) that coercive behavior (meaning forcing people to do what they don't want to do) actually heightens criminal tendencies.

I'm not saying that UMP-ians will go & ransack Gambang because of the rules, but it certainly won't make us more willing to comply. If the rules were well-justified & very reasonable, I wouldn't complain. The problem is it's not.

i never thought that this thread will become so hot...

Well, i was the fifth generations of UMP. And i also has a friend who are the first generation student of UMP (kuktem at that time).
To tell you the truth, the UMP rules and regulations are bind to the core value of UMP.
Most of my friends has said, if anything is related to the core value such as the UMP policy.. they will unlikely to cooperate..

Like my fellow muslim friends said, UMP is more islamic than the Islamic Universities..

The core values, as I recall, are fine. It's just how the admin inteprets it & execute their rules that is wrong. I remind that using common sense, forcing people to do things against their will, ESPECIALLY when they did NOTHING to deserve that kind of treatment, NEVER produces the best results.

^Yeah...I mean, c'mon, a HANDFUL of students got in trouble & to prevent it, you're going to FREEZE all of us? That's not how it should go...I believe for that woman, if she really wants to help us, GET LOOSE A LITTLE. Don't come up with rules that are so regimented & unreasonable. Be relaxed. That way, those couple who are POTENTIALLY problematic will feel more at ease talking to you & that's a better way to monitor & make sure things won't get out of hand. That's how you reduce it.

It's silly to say that we can cut the cases down to zero because students are HUMANS. Not all will be willing to comply to rules, no matter how pure the intention.

Sigh if they say that, I'll snort. As if. Please, don't insult me (not to you radin hahaha, I meant if the uni said that, that's my response). You've people stuffing wrong delusions about sex & stuff like that into our minds, I sure as hell don't appreciate it.

IMO, sex is a natural function. If God said it's a sin, then why on earth did He make it something so bloody pleasureable? I doubt God will want us to suffer while we reproduce. Sex is only wrong if done with bad intention (ie. to hurt someone) or without caution. The best way is to ADMIT that sex is natural, people will do it, some UMP-ians may give in to it. Forcing celibacy never works. Accept, give the right information, don't brainwash wrong thinking into our brains.

Imagine if there's a naive girl who believed all the crap that that woman said...I'll bet that girl will be scared to have a relationship because, oh Ms.H said that guys are after sex only, they only think of dirty stuff when they look at you, when she's married, sex becomes a duty instead of an intimate bond between husband & wife. While it may not be a problem for her, but she could have had a better relationship & better understanding of sex instead of warped comments from someone who sure has hell (I'm betting) hasn't had sex yet.
