Yeah, I really don't want to install the money-coin system...Plus our forum is now a private one...

I know some other forums they have "money-coin system", "experience", "level up", etc...
I know all these thing is fun, people will post a lot of thing to gain "rewards". But, at the same time, instead of posting something "quality", people will want to gain rewards and they start to post something less quality...
IMO, I think our forum is unique, we don't have much of "those things", but we can train people to share ideas here, instead of do nothing and waste their time try to gain "rewards" which are no use at all in the real life.

*just share my opinion, no offence*

Agreed. From my experience, there's no such thing as a reward system in the forum. The only difference is you get a new rank when you've reached a certain post count (click here to see the ranks).

Like Kelvin said, we want quality over quantity. We want our members to engage in discussions, to share views & opinions, this is how we will know each other better & form better relationships

True. That's why i said im not encouraging you all to "force" members to post ... Just let them to give quality ideas, suggestions, comments when they feel free to do that... That would be more effective...Plus yes! Our forum is private... so there should be no problem because all members here are "family" Wink Mr. Green

how about the moderator or the administrator private messages this "newbie" and tell them to participate..
i mean, just ask about their favourite things to share and start a new thread..

i mean, we encourage them to start a new thread...not forcing..
everyone has their own hobby or favourite things that they want to share right??
Maybe like food, interesting place, hobby, games, anime and others..

if they rejected it, its their choice...

^Good idea. Maybe at least they could introduce themselves, right? Maybe we'll just prompt them to make a post, not a new thread, just a simple reply would suffice Smile

There are juz too many lazybumps around here. Make them post sth or kick them out with no conditions. I guess when u're in a forum, ur identity is amazingly safe unless u're being a total ***head and u with no reasons reveal urself publicly. When ur identity is restricted to only urself or maybe someone else in the forum who is ur fren, there's juz no excuse to being shy. KEEP THAT IN MIND Cool

i've checked. as of today, only 39 of us out of the 63 registered users have ever posted somethg at least once on this forum. shud we at least come up with a tougher stance toward these dormant gerbils in order to ferret them out?....must've been hard to mobilize these lazyheads all this while eh, guyz!??
