Correct me if I'm wrong about Buddhism :p

I always thought that since Buddhism is about reincarnation, wouldn't there be a space of time where our souls aren't in a body? What about those souls that don't reach nirvana? That's why I think ghosts exist.

indescribable definitely. u cant tell there are souls that are wandering the void space of our world. yes, in buddhism, it does tell 'bout these ghosts and souls left wandering without any known purposes.

however, it'd best be explained this way. when we die, our souls mold itself into a collective column of energy and this energy will hav to wait for the time to come until it's fully prepared to cross over to reincarnate. thats the way SG(Soka Gakkai) explains souls. theres no particular mention on ghosts as in apparitions in which u can see with ur naked eyes. unless u had seen one. in that case, it'd be a whole different thg altogether. it all goes back to ur sanity.

of corse the other buddhist associations hav a different story. but still, they dun explain it the scientific way like what i hav put forth above.

For the record, i'm not forcing what i think on u guyz. u can accept it as it is or juz leave it.

i believe hav ghost in dis world, just we can�t c them...them can live in any where...
in addition hav a brother can c ghost since last sem...he now study at unimas...he say actually unimas hav many ghost, cos engineering fac for unimas is build on the grave (for the 2nd world war but not sure is real or not)...sometime in library stair, sometime in the place that quite lack of person, sometime in the way that he is going back to his hostel...had 1 time he was sleep in the study room after study, he saw a boy was squat at the corner...
not only like dat,i also had hear my secondary school's junior say she had saw it in the lift of star complex ( a place for watch movie in kuching )...oh yah...she also had say that she hav saw a boy grabbing on her teacher's feet n go into the classroom...at the morning oh...
so i believe that the ghost is in the world, just can�t c it...n it is in any place n any time...no only night oh...but i believe that if we din hinder them, them will not hinder us...so just live in dis world with peace...

@yuri.ting - wow...creepy and eerie..speechless. so what u're trying to imply here is that the faculty building was built on a supposedly 2nd world war POWs' graveyard? i see.

once i was told that spirits were supposed to be in another dimension of this world, a parallel world. their world is running side by side with our world. if u cross over the line, u will be able to see them. it's like when ur tuning into a radio station. when u find the right frequency in which the electromagnetic waves of ur radio/FM modulator modulate at the same frequency as the radio station's, then u will be able to receive the broadcast.

i believe in scientific facts. the explanation above is somehow scientifically logic. does anyone remember the movie 'White Noise'? i think that movie also plows into the existence of ghosts/spirits thru scientific approach. guess the truth will unfold once we are dead.

Hey caleb, that's a cool theory, really makes sense, there IS a scientific concept to it, I see. I guess everything has that, maybe 1 day we'll learn that spirits are made of special chemicals or something...
