Good day

The new sem has started, we have 49 new registered members so it's time to get cracking.

1. Theory classes
We will separate the group into 2: those taking the theory exams (grade 1 revision & continue into grade 2) & the new members learning the basics of grade 1. The tutor is still Mdm Wong, the fee is still RM8 per class. The book for Grade 1 students is RM3.50. Of course, if the member has already taken the exams, he/she need not attend the classes.

The time for the classes are as follows:

10am-11am: senior
11am-12pm: junior

2. Practical classes

First I'll put the list of the tutors (expected to be) available for each instrument:

Violin: Jo Ann, Ban Sheng, Inn Shi, Sharizan, Ammiratun, Ai Ti
Flute: May, Kelvin, Chia Sun
Clarinet: Teh Ubaidah, Firdaus, Huoy Ying
Trumpet: Cheryl, Yew Soon, Wi Ven, Ivan Kuek
Trombone: the one & only Abigail Koay
Piano: Ainul, Sheila, Ai Ti, Ammiratun, Sue Ann, Thelahaeswary, Ser Er
Drum: Azmi Raif, Shahrel
Xylophone: Nadhirah, Si Hui
Tenor Sax: the one & only Chi Hui

The venues will be according to the instrument:

Office: drum, piano, xylophone
Lecture halls: other instruments

About guitar classes, I will contact Mr.Kent to confirm the classes. It'll probably start on the following week (27th July, Sunday), I'll try to negotiate with him to reduce the price of the class from RM6 to RM4 if possible.

I haven't told Mr.Zaki, I will ask him to let us have the classes on Saturday morning, then maybe at 4pm onwards we go for rehearsal. I don't think we have any other choice.
