Hey guys

I'm considering opening the guitar class to non-OG members.

Why?
Currently only OG members are allowed to go for the guitar classes under Mr.Kent because that is their privilege as a member; we source out for a professional tutor to provide training at our university.

The issue however is the fees. While it is pretty tight for our members (who also have to pay for theory class fees), it's also not possible to reduce the fees UNLESS the number of students increase.

So...?
My suggestion is to open the classes to non-OG members on the condition that they pay more for the class. Currently its RM6 per hr. I suggest that non-OG pay RM8, OG members pay RM4. There's their privilege. I don't want to make it too cheap for non-OG then common logic would follow that it's better to quit the OG & just go for the class. Selfish of me, but that's why a discussion is for.

So please share your opinions about this. It's pretty important. Thanks Wink

pros n cons

Actually can open and ask UMPians first like make a survey only decide...coz we dont know how many non-OG students we could get.

Here got one question pop up in my mind.
Is guitar students must take theory class? Is our drummer taking theory class now?

Yeah they must go for theory class. Our drum tutor has taken the exam until Grade 2, that's why he's not taking it again Wink
