To avoid spammage, you may congratulate fellow members when they have reached certain ranks:
_____ - Hobbyist
___50 - Student
__100 - Amateur
__500 - Performer
_1000 - Musician
_2500 - Principal
_5000 - Conductor
10000 - Composer
25000 - Maestro
You may congratulate your friends when they reach 1000 posts turnover. Example when they reached 4000 posts & it doesn't fall into any of the categories above.
You may also congratulate your friends when they have scored a special achievement, may it be scoring good grades, or winning a competition.
You may wish other members happy birthday.
You may welcome new members to the forums here.
If your congratulations doesn't fall in either of the above, it is more appropriate to send a PM
