ok..act'ly wmn's voice is one of the Aurat dat muslimah(muslim wmn) hve to jaga as good as pssble. wmn's voice here means singing among other people.bcz from dat cn make other people trpikat wif 'her' n then the social prblems occurs...=(

I thnk dat's why they x wnt any girls to sing on d stge..
juz look at others uni..the social problems among stdnts...huh..

mybe dis is one of the way 2 dcrease the social problms among stdnts...

Girls can sing in UMP... there's nothing that states that they can't sing in a public crowd,

But,

For a girl in UMP to sing in this place, the public audience at that particular time must be among girls too.

Ainul, I beg to differ.

Social problems in university IS NOT BECAUSE YOU LISTENED TO A GIRL'S VOICE.

There are many factors. I'm sincerely against the idea of IMPLEMENTING RELIGION IN EVERY BLOODY THING.

Keep education & religion aside. There are non-Muslims in UMP too. I respect your religion but there's no RELEVANCE in implementing it here. I could say why don't we implement Christianity or Buddhism or Hinduism?

We control our actions. Religion is just a guide. But to FORCE that religion on others is plain ridiculous.

On that note, thank you for explaining to us the reason but I'm still not pleased with the situation.

Woww...i never know that women have so much "attraction" huh...
SO UNBELIEVABLE explanations made.

*p/s: Im not criticizing anyone or any religion...its just my opinion that i also cant accept that explanation for the situation which happened.

Ainul, it's okay don't worry. Not angry with you, you just tried to explain their reasons. Very Happy

I'm saying that their reasons are folly. Silly reasons. There are some things you CAN'T BRING RELIGION INTO. Music, art & culture is one of them. You can't implement rules like this when music & art is UNIVERSAL, other people from different religious & spiritual backgrounds are in it too.

I always felt that the best thing about the Club is that they don't care what race or religion you come from, we are united through friendship & love for arts. I don't want a bunch of sodding, religious maniacs running the show. That's my 2 cents' piece.

I don't like that it's NOT JUSTIFIED PROPERLY. The reason that listening to a girl's voice turns you into a horny maniac is preposterous. I can't believe that kind of thinking in this university.

EVEN USIM HAS GIRL SINGERS!

In most cases as far as UMP is concerned the screw up is usually by the administrators...This time however with regards to this issue the problem I believe is also with the students themselves...

The main reason y people like our USTAD ALMIGHTY(u know who) go on enforcing rules like this coz no1 opposes them...In every case the oppressed should voice out its opinion against discrimination...That is not the case here however... In the name of religion they let themselves to be discriminated...

So the effected group (i.e. muslim women) should stand up against discrimination...The problem starts when everytime some1 uses Islam as an excuse to shut them.. Muslim women ask yourselves this... Would you want your religion to be considered as a discriminative one? If no then speak up for your rights... People like USTAD ALMIGHTY should be taught to control their toughts and desires instead of covering women up so they don't get a hard-on...Make sure everytime they enforce a stupid rule, question it... Prove them wrong...Eventually they will lose out..

Your decision today will determine your future... Nothing will change unless u make an effort to do so...So decide..

WHY in the first place GOD created women with VOICE? HE might as well created them DUMB or the MEN DEAF. And dun start giving me the lecture on Islam cuz I have been in an all-MUSLIM boarding school for 5 damn years and I know what is AURAT!!!

SORRY NO OFFENSE. But I really can't take the bull**** where a woman's voice CAN make the men lust after her!!!! Whatever happened to ur brains??? WHY CAN'T that USTAZ request the MEN to restrain themselves and strengthen their IMAN? WHY must it be the women who have to be subjected to all the OPPRESIONS and pay for the PRICE of BEING BEAUTIFUL(Remember TOK GURU NIK AZIZ asking all those pretty faces to go back to their double wide and fry sth?) It's FUNNY to know someone like this TOK GURU came up with such an ***hole IDEA!!!! I wonder whether he wud do such a thg to his OWN WIFE!!!!!!!

This all comes down to how people misintepret teachings. They take it to an extreme level that is unaccepted by liberalists today. Perhaps in the past, when women were just the fairer sex & had no visible rights, these attitudes were the norm. But today, times have changed, mentalities are different. I'd say cheers to women who KNOW that if a man lusts for her because of her VOICE, it's not her fault, for its the man who is weak & he should be taught to think not with his dick.
