In this thread, please state the flaws/weaknesses of the OG. I will use the options & perhaps we can run a poll if necessary.

My opinions:
1. Lack of commitment from members
2. Bureaucracy & red tape@HEPA
3. Insufficient training/rehearsals
4. Insufficient instruments
5. Lack of performing members
6. Insufficient resources eg sheet music
7. OG MT's poor management

Please feel free to add to the list.

REMEMBER: The purpose of this thread is to IDENTIFY the weaknesses in the OG & hopefully we can remedy them to improve the OG.

Um... Wat i meant is : As written in ur 1st post: ... IDENTIFY the weaknesses... means just the weaknesses can be listed? how bout if there is any suggestion? can suggestions be listed as well? Question

Opinion:
1 No perform chances given to student members...why do u think they will show lots of commitment. This is not just applied to "student members", some of those "not-so-qualified members" also didnt given chances to show their abilities.

(what i think is: we need to give chances, small or big, to let other OG members to perform, in small or big occasions...Not just let the old performers to take over everything everytime...Well of course, you all can evaluate whether such instrument positions can be confidently taken over by the new performers or not. BUT REMEMBER, old performers might not be here forever...If new one not given any chance, how are they going to survive when there are no seniors? Plus this will make all your efforts now to be wasted in the future...)

Yeah true. I remember we wanted to let new members perform every month. But we never got to do that... Sad

Oh now I understand. Yeah I guess we didn't really follow up on what we said we'd do.

Hm well perhaps we can't do that in this sem, time's quite tight...I think we should just go ahead & have a performance every month. The performers shall be new performers, not the same group of people. I think we can do it like a half hour show, where every section will have to present a piece. What do you think? Like a recital.

i guess, its not easy to do those perfomance (need pratice n vanue to perform it)
CHOIR oso planned to do these perfomance but progress =0 until now..
somebody gonna steps d 1st STEP....

assignment, test, quiz, report, PT,presentations, entertainment, friends, home, etc.. which 1 come 1st in ur heart??
