Actually this was giving me an idea to do OTHER ALBUMS! An album with different themes, like Hari Raya, Chinese Songs (CNY, Mooncake etc), Christmas (we haven't done songs like that), romantic songs, patriotic songs...hehehe

1. We can increase our repertoire.
2. We can generate some income for the OG.
3. We can popularize orchestral music & the OG.
4. We can have FUN!

perhaps OG can pratice new n suitable song n record it in the CD, juz for CONVO purpose..... hehe... any suggestions?

Hm I really want to do "You Raise Me Up"...It's such an uplifting song, I can imagine listening to it to inspire me to do better Wink

I'm thinking of other new songs to do hehehehehe... Laughing

1 more thing, I was thinking about each of you, post your top 15 songs that you want in the album for Convo, then from there I'll set up a poll. Is that okay? Wink

Hurm... Yup guys...I think for now we need to decide songs for CONVOCATION album one first...Dun get over-excited...Things need to be done slow slow Wink

hehe

Convo's song must be "themed" with Goodbye, Happiness coz graduates going to walk further route, Friendship, or Relationships with lecturers and so on ...

My choices:

1. Pomp and Circumstance
2. Fen Xiang (Translation: Share)
3. Centuria (although its not a real convo's song, but i think its melody n all kind of suits the event Very Happy

)
4. Auld Lang Syne (as rowanlim listed, I think this is a "MUST" song)
5. Peng You (Translation: Friend)

co'mon guys...we need something really Nice, Simple, Special and Suitable Cool

My suggestions:

1. Pomp & Circumstance: to those who haven't heard it, PM/skype me for the song, its really suitable. This song is a MUST HAVE at foreign universities.

2. Centuria: I've tried it with Kelvin before, nearly broke my fingers but it was worth it, definitely uplifting music, you may ask me for the mp3.

3. Auld Lang Syne: This is a great sing-along song. I can imagine the recipient of the album singing along.

4. When You Say Nothing At All: A great hit. Some of them might have sung this songs with UMP friends...hehe...a UMP classic Laughing

5. Mirai E: Another UMP classics Laughing

6. Canon in D

7. To Where You Are

8. You Raise Me Up

9. Beautiful Girl

10. Lough Erin Shore: This song by the Corrs is very simple & nice

11. Hero: by Mariah Carey. I bet some will cry mwahaha.

12. Kenangan Terindah: The title says it all.

13. Dealova

14. Mungkin Nanti

15. My Heart

I think we better focus the scope on convocation lo...i feel like some of the songs suggested more to love songs or hits, not really related to the event. Neutral
