Hi everyone

This is quite a shock to me, I met Mr.Zaki yesterday, I'll just note what he told me:

The NC really supports OG, it's kinda CONFIRMED that we will perform for convocation & the Makan Malam Convo again.
There will be a concert by a famous nasyid group (I forgot the name) & UMP OG, nasyid & gamelan will perform together, supposed to be after Convo.
Here's the killer part: We will have to RECORD AN ALBUM & EACH GRADUATE WILL RECEIVE THE CD.

So I actually want to discuss about the album:

1. How many songs?
2. What songs?
3. We will have to record in a studio. Mr.Indra has agreed to prepare us for this.

So I'd like some feedback about this. I want us to be prepared Wink

To all orchestra members, really amazed, impressed, electrofied, magnetized and...(too many write) with you guys. Keep up with impressive jobs.

Once you are nothing, now you are something. Hooray to you all! Will second to everything new decision and ideas you all make. Hope things go well.

Now you all have new tasks according to Jo Ann, work hard for it. All the best to you, guys

i thnk..
since they ask us to do dat...
dat means, our group dah dapat kepercayaan dr pihak atasan...
then,juz proceed..
v juz play the song dat v prfrm b4...
btw v have 2 wrk hard laa to do all dis to make d album very nice...

Hope all the three MAKUM songs there( must the mustika guy(zam zam) and sinaran gurl sing o!!haha) want the ori version!!! yeah..
then,
4)beautiful girl
5)pandang2- jeling2
6) new instrumental song-> Jo an solo violin!! haha

I hope the first till the fifth song will inside the album! yeah!! I support u all!!!

we can perform the songs that had perform before then add another songs which is kinda 'soothing' music to listen to ;p

i like 'de sky' but seem like we dun hv a chance to perform the song =(

btw, we need to plan early so we can practice properly this time =)
i think, we can stay during short sem la...hehehe... any idea?

@Fei Chow: Some of the songs were done during other occasions, some only me & some one else (non-OG member), like during the CHEST annual dinner. There are actually more songs, I'm adding now Wink

So first question first: HOW MANY SONGS?

So...before that, we have to decide: What KIND of songs? This means you've to imagine: what songs would YOU like to hear on a CD given to you for your graduation? Songs that invoke memories of your time in UMP? Cool

I think 10 songs is enough Wink

PS. I've a recording of Kelvin playing Mirai E as a flute solo...Feel free to ask from me, I can't upload it, suspected copyright!!! Hahaha Laughing
