Good day to all

I have received information that certain people are signing up on the forum to report on the discussions carried out here. They will find almost all of our discussions here, mainly at the Angkasawan Woes thread & the UMP Woes thread against what they believe & may try to report our discussion.

To protect our forum & our rights to voice out our opinions, I will now temporarily freeze registration of new members to our forums. I am sure that these people will intepret our heart-felt disappointment towards the university authority as our form of rebellion, which isn't the case.

Current forum members needn't worry, you may continue your activities & most importantly, sharing your views, on this forum. The ban will be lifted when sufficient time has passed.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I do think that at the moment this is the best thing to do in order to protect the forum & our rights to voice out our opinions.

These so-called 'spies' are sent to supposedly 'monitor' the contents of this forum and would not hesitate to file a report or testify against us at the slightest sign of infraction.

Having said that,I do think it is uncalled for as this is a forum in which we allow an OPEN DISCUSSION.And not on the sole purpose of maligning or insulting of any kind.

Common rationale would be to ignore them. This is, after all, a free forum. It's not a blog, dear forum folk. Here we have discussions, we exchange opinions, we don't COERCE people into accepting our views. Every member has a right to defend his/her point of view. Healthy debates here are fine, as long as we don't bring up sensitive issues as outlined in the Constitution.

Common rationale would be for them to join the forum openly & to share their opinions & correct us if we have mistakes. However to sign in merely to read our posts & not contributing to the discussion, plus to report our actions, is a severe act of breaching our privacy. Shame.

So forum folk, don't worry. Express yourself rationally, as long as it's within the the forum rules. We will not let other people enter & disrupt the flow of ideas & discussions here.

UPDATE:

Fine forum folk, I would like your opinion, forum membership is only via INVITATION. If you have friend of whom you can trust & have no ill intentions towards the the forum, PM/skype me his/her details, then I will activate their account. I feel this is a step we will have to take until certain people learn to participate in a discussion, not sabotage it.

Please share your views about this. The forum isn't mine alone, it belongs to us all.

should be ok... can make the forum to private forum... since now is in critical situation... maybe just do it for temporary until the problems goes off...coz it's kinda troublesome for some other outsiders who willing to share opinions in our forum...

I think it's really important for other ppl to know that a forum is an open discussion for ppl like us to spill all our grudges,dissatisfaction so that they won't keep building up in us!!!!Whatever happened to Freedom of SPEECH....Freedom of EXPRESSION!!!Sigh

Anyway, I think it's important to close the registration for a while to monitor thgs. It's good to be on the watch sometimes.

Usually the spies will try a various way to get in the forum.
So, i suggest that we stay with the current decisions.

Sometimes people just couldn't accept the truth because it is very hard to swallow..

Alright. So dear forum folk, registration of new members is frozen. Membership is only via invitation. As mentioned previously, if you have friends interested to join the forums without ill intentions, inform me of their username & I will activate their accounts. Suspicious individuals will be denied access. Thank you for your input. I will do my best to protect the dignity of the forum.

Well well well, we had another team made up of pretty short of neutrons people around us lately.

Brunch of freaks round us make our days misery. Aren't we bounded to our freedom of speech? Or there is no liberation. The world could be a better place when there exists people to voice out grudges and dissatisfaction as Calebdanvers said. They want to judge us because of our dissatisfactory towards they doing?? or they felt threaten of their unscrupulous actions. kakakka.. tiny brainy people.

To tiny brainy people, we don't make a respect remark for you all, make yourself more mature a bit before jumping to conclusion, trying to cover matters and provoke inappropriate lies around. It doesn't work. We are brainy people, unlike others here to spy on us. The members are here for an open discussion not to provoke anything. Be sure to learn that, you tiny brainy people.

^Well said. I would like to apologize to all forum members & express my sincere regret for my personal blunder had brought our forum under the microscope of study for these band of merry mentals. So I promise I will do my best to maintain this forum & make it comfortable for our members. I will not lie & said these merry mentals decided to do what they did without certain prompting. Kudos to ms admin for being bold & brave to express her dissatisfactions or vent her frustrations in this forum..it was an eye-opener for most of us and to me u did nothing wrong..Ur just being opinionated as u are.Like my mom used to say "everyone is entitled to their own opinion"..Well,as long as the bashing or whatever it is (if there is any) be kept at a moderate level,I see no damage is done..

Just to clarify about how the new registration system is going to work:

Let's say you're new & you want to register at the forum.
1. The registration has to be via invitation. You will need a REFERRAL from a person who is ALREADY A MEMBER of the forum.

2. You will register as usual, but to be activated, your friend must INFORM the mod/admin about your account. He/she has to provide the username & brief details, such as whether you are "clean" (meaning no suspicious motives) & if you are a member of the Club.

3. If your referral is satisfactory, your account will be activated & you may access the forum freely.

Please tell your friends this process if they are interested.
