Well here's a brief guideline about multiple posting. Multiple posting is classified as spam, so please use this guideline to help keep our forums spam-free

What is multiple posting?

Multiple posting is when you post a reply, then you post another reply that appears IMMEDIATELY after your previous post. Double-posting is 2 posts in a row, triple-posting is 3 posts in a row, & so on.

Why multi-post?

1. Sometimes we accidentally forget to add certain information in our previous post. There's no need to double-post to add that information. Use the "EDIT" button on your previous post. Type:

EDIT: (insert additional information here)

That way, we all can see the additional information & you needn't double-post.

2. Sometimes the thread has been inactive & you'd like to add a new information but your post is the last in the thread. Editing your previous post in this case will not make the thread active again. So here's a little trick:
- click "EDIT" on the previous post. Copy the entire post.
- delete your post.
- post a new reply, paste your previous post & type "edit: (new information)".

Hence the thread will be active again, & you don't have to multiple post.

Exceptions

Double-posting is only allowed when you've posted a very long QUOTE (quoting an article etc) & you don't want to mix up that post with your own opinion. That's when double-posting is allowed.

Hopefully you will use this guideline to avoid multiple-posting. Thank you!
