UMP Orator Club had the Naib Canselor (NC) debate, which had 2 categories: English & Malay debate. The dinner was held on 30th Mar, Sun at the astaka. UMP OG was invited to perform & perform well we did.

We performed 5 songs that night, the first 2 songs were performed together with UMP Choir Group (Solid Harmonie).

5. Tenor Sax: The ONE & ONLY CHI HUI Laughing

6. Guitar: Ariff
7. Bass guitars: David, Ezrin
8. Drum: The ONE & ONLY SHAHREL Laughing

9. Keyboards: Ainul, Kai Bin, Sheila

The performance was fantastic. The audience went wild with Sinaran & Mustika was a perfect performance. D'Sky rocketed (except I forgot to switch on my mike...shame... Crying or Very sad

), Beautiful Girl was a beautiful hit & Pandang-Pandang Jeling-Jeling was a great classic.

After the performance, Mr.Reduan (Ketua Unit Aktiviti Pelajar) met me & said that it was a superb performance, he asked if we had enough instruments (I obviously told him not enough, we need MORE haha) & that we have his full support.

So many thanks to everyone for giving such a brilliant performance. Special thanks to Shahrel for helping us to set up the mikes etc...You must give us a seminar on how to do the setting in the future Razz

Even though we only rehearsed for less than 4 days, the performance was amazing & we showed great cooperation!! Thanks again!! Smile

@Kelvin: I stand corrected. There were flaws, but maybe I was trying to say that this is, in my memory, a performance that was WELL-RECEIVED by audience. I re-phrase: this is, by our standards, not the BEST. I agree with Kelvin. Compared to what we did for MAKUM & Convo, this isn't very good. The crowd was amazing though, I was glad they enjoyed our performance. But yes, we had some flaws. Worrying ones too.
