Hehehe Very Happy

The idea just struck me, thats all.

The F like curve on the violin was on my mind, but i didn't have any pic on it.

I was also thinking of including the headstock.

But then again, didn't have any good pics, huhu Razz

Anyway, referring to the past conversations, the so call 'orquesta' name is still in KIV.

So, have you all decided yet?

Well currently based on the poll, Orquesta's fine. I think it'll be the name of the performing group, like when we go to competitions etc, we'll be called Orquesta. But the official name would be the UMP Orchestra Group/the OG Wink

Oic.

The only thing is the logo then.

I was thinking of something that symbolize music but didn't have anything to do with any instruments, but at the same time relates all the instruments.

Hurm...

The most common thing to symbolize it would be the treble clef sign!
Or i have another idea: use a symbolizing thing(simple n symbolic) to represent each section in orchestra.
For eg: my previous school band used the mouthpiece of clarinet to represent woodwond, trumpet's mouthpiece - brasswind & drum stick's head - percussion.
So mayb can use something like that to create as logo?

Using too many symbol would be horrifying, hehe Razz

You wouldn't want to use too much on a logo.

The trebel clef?

Like the 1st piece i did?

Hurm...

What i meant is just a small, simple, meaningful symbol. Urm...True if its like many symbols in a logo...But imagine it...coz i dunno how to describe it exactly...mayb for eg:- string: the curve part like ezrin's 3rd piece + woodwind: clarinet or flute mouthpiece + brasswind: trumpet's mouthpiece+ percussion: drum stick's head (I think that should be enough)
Ermm...ur 1st piece Rani could be modified...because it looks too striking... Wink
But actually looking back...i feel ban sheng's design was great! It represents music by the stave! Wink

Huhuhu Very Happy

Hurm...

I do see what you are trying to say.

Hehe Very Happy

It could work, but needs time to get an effective arrangement.
